The NVIDIA driver can dynamically adjust the brightness in movies and video to provide a better contrast on a scene-by-scene basis.

To adjust the contrast of your video dynamically

  1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Video, click Adjust video color settings to open the page.

  2. If applicable, select the display on which you are playing the video.

  3. Under How do you make color adjustments, select With the NVIDIA settings.

  4. If necessary, click the Color tab and then move the Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation sliders to achieve the optimum baseline color quality for your video.

  5. Click the Advanced tab, then check the Dynamic contrast enhancement check box.

  6. Click Apply when done.
