To change the RGB dynamic range

  1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Display, click Change Resolution to open the page.

  2. If applicable, select the display on which you want to change the RGB dynamic range.

  3. Click the Output color format drop-down arrow and then select RGB.

  4. Click the Output dynamic range drop-down arrow and then select:

    • Full (0-255) to use the full RGB range of applications on HD displays that support it.

    • LIMITED (16-235) to use the limited RGB range - for example, if the display is not capable of showing the full RGB range.

  5. Click Apply.

NOTE: It is possible to switch to the full dynamic range even on monitors that do not support it. In this case, colors may not appear correctly. If this happens, revert to the default settings.

NOTE: See Change Resolution for information on using these controls with Windows 10.
