Why Do You Need an NVIDIA graphics processor?

Still going strong

The rain poured but that did not dampen the enthusiasm in the NVIDIA camp. In fact, NVIDIA is still as strong as ever going into the final lap at Computex. And NVIDIA is everywhere – from bags and boxes (lucky draw, that is) to booths and babes!

Our partners continued to showcase cards and systems based on NVIDIA motherboards and cards, with many sporting very powerful configurations that would make many enthusiasts crave for one.

The GPU Poker Game kept its momentum with many visitors moving from booth to booth to collect the cards for a shot at winning some great prizes.

NVIDIA Everywhere!

NVIDIA mania

NVIDIA continued to be a magnet for the media as a media briefing on June 7 drew press members from across the region.

Ravi Kaushik, Marketing Manager for Mobile Products at NVIDIA, captured their attention with NVIDIA’s range of mobile GPU offerings. Press members were busy clicking away and snapping the notebooks on parade.

In the exhibitions halls, NVIDIA partners wowed visitors with their display of NVIDIA-based products. Chaintech even organised a racing competition – complete with racing seat – on a SLI system.

Visitors go wild over NVIDIA GPU Poker Game

A steady stream of visitors made their way from one NVIDIA partner booth to another – seeking to collect exclusive trading cards that can win them instant prizes in the GPU Poker Game.

One participant had three lanyards full of cards while others had garnered quite a collection as well. The aim was to collect a complete set of 28 cards from the various partner booths.

At each partner booth during the NVIDIA show time, they stood to bring home a precious prize of an NVIDIA graphics card if they have the most complete set of cards.

NVIDIA kicked off our Computex campaign with a bang – drawing more than 50 journalists from around the world in a packed room in our demo suite at the 33rd Floor of Taiwan World Trade Centre Club.

Rob Csongor, Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Marketing, briefed the media – amidst a flurry of camera flashes – on the latest range of NVIDIA technologies on display in the suite. He hailed “The Era of the GPU” in his impactful presentation to the media.

Later in the day, a Fan Tour drew a similar response with the NVIDIA enthusiasts getting up close with the NVIDIA products.

Elsewhere at Computex, NVIDIA is everywhere – at all our partners’ booths across the various halls. NVIDIA showgirls at the booths handed out GPU Poker cards to visitors, who could trade their collection of cards for prizes.
