A Quest for Building a Foundation 3D Digital Human Model

Tuesday, December 3 | 2:15 p.m. JST

Koki Nagano - Principal Research Scientist, NVIDIA

Digital humans (DH) technology has vast potential, but current approaches require training task-specific models from scratch using small, domain-specific datasets, which is inefficient and unscalable. This talk presents a novel solution: a unified, highly photorealistic 3D foundation model for DH, trained on a large collection of in-the-wild 2D data, enabling the development of diverse downstream applications and shaping the future of DH research and industry.
