VCA Program FAQs

The VC Alliance is open to institutional venture capital firms, corporate venture arms, accelerators, incubators, and family offices that actively invest in and support AI and technology startups. Applicants must have an active corporate website and a track record of relevant portfolio investments, and they must meet additional program eligibility and compliance criteria, which can be found in the program Terms & Conditions.

The VC Alliance is designed for equity-focused venture capital firms and ecosystem partners supporting AI technology startups. The following are generally not eligible: 

  1. Credit, debt, or structured finance investors (e.g. private credit funds, lenders, banks) 
  2. Consulting firms that offer services to startups
  3. Firms singularly focused on Web3, blockchain, or crypto-only investments
  4. Entities based in, or primarily operating from, embargoed or restricted countries (as defined by NVIDIA’s compliance policies), including China, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Syria.

The application consists of four sections (Contact Information, Firm Information, Portfolio Referral, and Terms & Conditions) and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Please allow up to 10 business days for our team to review your application.

NVIDIA offers VC Alliance members the opportunity to access AI insights to make informed investment decisions, connect with startups through curated deal flow, and accelerate portfolio companies with technical and go-to-market support. 

Portfolio companies that apply to NVIDIA Inception receive fast‑tracked application reviews, unlocking access to the latest developer tools and training, preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware and software, free cloud credits, and more.

If a portfolio company would benefit from the Inception program, VC Alliance members can refer them through the form in the newsletter or the portal to fast track their application.

If your firm is a member of the VC Alliance, an existing portal user at your firm can authorize you as a user on the Manage Users tab. For security reasons, NVIDIA cannot add new users on a firm’s behalf or share details about a firm’s current users.

If your firm is not a member of the VC Alliance, you can apply here: [VC Alliance]. Once you’re accepted, the primary and secondary contacts from your application will automatically be authorized as portal users.

Start by confirming the following:

  1. Your firm is an active member of the VC Alliance in good standing.
  2. You’re using the correct webpage; the VC Alliance portal can’t be accessed from the NVIDIA Inception program login page.
  3. You’re an authorized portal user. If you’re unsure, ask an existing portal user at your firm to log in and verify your access under the Manage Users tab.
