Following the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, launching on PC today, November 18th.
Similar to the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered released earlier this year in close collaboration with Insomniac Games, Marvel Games, Nixxes Software and PlayStation Studios, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC features many enhancements, customizable settings, and support for a broad range of hardware configurations, all the way from high-end PCs to portable PC gaming devices.
Playing Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on a GeForce RTX PC, laptop or graphics card enables you to experience the game at its very best, enhanced with NVIDIA DLSS 2 Super Resolution, NVIDIA DLAA, and upgraded ray-traced effects that run fastest on GeForce RTX thanks to the dedicated RT Cores found on each RTX GPU. And if you play with a GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card, you can experience Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales with the game-changing NVIDIA DLSS 3, which accelerates performance at 4K by over 2X, giving you the fastest, highest-fidelity experience possible.
NVIDIA DLSS is our groundbreaking AI-powered tech that accelerates performance on GeForce RTX GPUs. Using dedicated GPU Tensor Cores, DLSS taps into the power of a deep learning neural network to boost frame rates and generate beautiful, sharp images in your favorite games. And with the release of our GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, we’ve launched NVIDIA DLSS 3, a game-changing upgrade that multiplies frame rates.
Powered by new hardware capabilities of the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture found on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, DLSS 3 generates entirely new high quality frames, rather than just pixels. Through a process detailed in full in our DLSS 3 explainer article, DLSS 3 combines DLSS 2 Super Resolution technology and DLSS 3 Frame Generation to reconstruct 7/8ths of the displayed pixels, accelerating performance to previously unimaginable degrees.
If you own a previous-generation GeForce RTX graphics card or laptop, you can use DLSS 2 Super Resolution in each DLSS 3 game. Additionally, integrations of DLSS 3 also include NVIDIA Reflex, reducing system latency for all GeForce RTX users, making games more responsive.
With our new Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Game Ready Driver installed, all GeForce RTX gamers can use NVIDIA DLSS to increase their frame rates by a significant degree. Players with previous-generation GPUs can use DLSS 2 Super Resolution to improve performance by over 2X at 4K, with max settings and all ray-traced settings set to their highest levels. And GeForce RTX 40 Series users can leverage the power of DLSS 3 to more than double frame rates, giving them over 120 FPS at 4K, and the definitive experience!
If you already have excellent frame rates, you can instead enable NVIDIA DLAA, an AI-based anti-aliasing mode for users who have spare GPU headroom and want higher levels of image quality. DLAA uses the same technology developed for DLSS, but works on a native resolution image to maximize image quality instead of boosting performance. With NVIDIA DLAA, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will look even more detailed.
Like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales includes ray-traced opaque reflections with multiple detail levels and options, enhancing Marvel’s New York with high detail, physically accurate reflections that greatly improve image quality and immersion.
The PC launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales also sees the introduction of new ray-traced shadows for outdoor light cast by the sun and moon. These added ray-traced effects enhance shadows with natural gradients in softness, and improve their accuracy and appearance, further improving visual fidelity on PC.
To experience these ray-traced effects running at their highest settings, with other options cranked up, and the resolution maxed, you’ll need a GeForce RTX graphics card, desktop or laptop. In each GeForce RTX GPU there are dedicated RT Cores to crunch highly taxing ray tracing workloads, giving you the performance to enjoy ray-traced games at their best. And with DLSS also enabled, you’ll have the performance to max out all ray-traced effects at 4K.
NVIDIA Reflex is a must-have in games, reducing system latency so your actions occur quicker, making you more competitive in multiplayer matches, and making single-player titles more responsive. It’s available in the most popular multiplayer and esports games, is supported on GeForce graphics cards dating back to the 900 Series, and only takes a single click to enable.
NVIDIA Reflex is used by over 20 million players each month, and when Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales launches on PC, those millions of GeForce gamers can reduce their system latency for a smoother, more responsive experience when swinging through Marvel’s New York.
In addition to all of the above, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC also boasts numerous graphical and experiential enhancements to make full use of the PC’s capabilities. These include NVIDIA HBAO+, which improves the quality of ambient occlusion shadowing across the game, plus higher-resolution shadow maps, higher levels of detail, higher fidelity texture filtering, additional quality levels for numerous options, and much more, making the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales look even more spectacular. Plus, the frame rate is unlocked, for a smoother, faster presentation.
You can also play in HDR on G-SYNC and G-SYNC ULTIMATE gaming monitors, TVs and displays*, and in 21:9, 32:9, 48:9, and NVIDIA Surround panoramic ultra-widescreen resolutions**, for the most immersive experience possible.
There’s also robust controller support and keyboard mapping customization. But if you would prefer playing on a controller, Nixxes has included support for the PlayStation DUALSENSE™ controller, which delivers the same amazing PS5 haptic feedback and adaptive trigger responses when connected to a PC via USB. Additionally, there’s support for a wide range of other gamepads, and a full range of UI, system options, plus other expected PC settings.
In other words, everything you know and love about Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC is also present in the new PC release of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
