NVIDIA Broadcast is an app that transforms any space into a home studio, upgrading standard webcams and microphones into premium smart devices through the power of AI. Improve the video and audio quality of your livestream with AI capabilities, such as microphone noise and room echo removal, virtual background, webcam auto frame and video noise removal. With dedicated AI processors called Tensor Cores on NVIDIA RTX GPUs, the AI networks are able to run high-quality effects in real-time.
When not broadcasting, these features can also enhance your video conference calls and voice chats, making NVIDIA Broadcast a perfect AI companion for anyone.
The NVIDIA Broadcast app includes:
Note: The Room Echo Removal and Video Noise Removal effects added in version 1.2 are currently in beta. Please provide your feedback to help us improve!
Yes! In version 1.2.0 we introduced the ability to run more than one AI effect per device. You can run two effects in your microphone, speaker and/or camera, for a maximum of six active effects at one time.
Please note that combining effects increases impact on your system.
Video Noise Removal is an AI effect that reduces visual noise from your camera feed, which typically occurs in low light situations. This effect is useful for webcams, as their sensors oftentimes capture visual noise, giving off the appearance of a low-quality feed. Video Noise Removal cleans up the visual noise, providing higher picture quality akin to a premium webcam.
Room Echo Removal is an AI effect that reduces the room echo (or reverb) from your audio. This typically occurs when you have a space without sound isolation. This is particularly useful for users working or studying from home in smaller rooms without proper soundproofing acoustics.
NVIDIA Broadcast works with most PC microphones, speakers or headsets, and webcams. These include most recent models from popular manufacturers such as Logitech, ElGato, AverMedia, Razer, Asus, HyperX, SteelSeries, Rode and Bose. It even works with Apple Airpods!
Make sure that if your device has a similar feature to NVIDIA Broadcast (e.g. Noise Removal) you turn it off, so you don’t try to apply the same effect twice.
NVIDIA Broadcast is compatible with a wide range of broadcasting, video conferencing and voice chat apps. These include: OBS Studio, Streamlabs, XSplit Broadcaster, Twitch Studio, HuYa, DouYu, Bilibili, Discord, TeamSpeak, Skype, Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Meet, Bluejeans and more.
NVIDIA Broadcast works by creating a virtual Windows camera, microphone, or speaker on your PC. These devices will be listed as one of the available devices in your video or voice chat application. Simply enable features from within the NVIDIA Broadcast app, then select the NVIDIA Broadcast device in your video or voice chat application. Get started with our setup guide.
