Over 500 games and applications feature RTX technologies, and virtually every week a new blockbuster or indie game integrates NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, or advanced ray-traced effects to deliver the definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players.

On August 30th, one of the year’s most anticipated blockbusters hits virtual store shelves, packed with game-enhancing, experience-improving RTX technologies - read all about it below.

Star Wars™ Outlaws Launching August 30th With DLSS 3, Ray Tracing & Reflex

Star Wars™ Outlaws is launching August 30th, and you can pre-order now on the Ubisoft Store. Star Wars™ Outlaws invites players to experience the Star Wars galaxy like never before through an original story set between Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™.

As the Galactic Empire relentlessly pursues the final defeat of the Rebel Alliance, the criminal underworld thrives. Fans will play as cunning scoundrel Kay Vess and her loyal companion Nix, as they attempt one of the greatest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen. Seeking the means to start a new life, players will join Kay and Nix as they fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and join the galaxy’s most wanted.

To celebrate the game’s upcoming release, Ubisoft shared a new story trailer:

NVIDIA has partnered with Ubisoft and LucasFilm Games to deliver the definitive PC experience for Star WarsOutlaws players, leveraging the game-changing technologies of GeForce RTX GPUs to enhance graphics, accelerate performance, and make gameplay even more responsive.

The second Star WarsOutlaws launches on August 30th, GeForce RTX gamers can activate NVIDIA DLSS 3, multiplying performance with DLSS Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, and boosting performance considerably with DLSS Super Resolution on all other GeForce RTX GPUs.

Additionally, all GeForce RTX gamers can activate NVIDIA Reflex, reducing system latency in Star WarsOutlaws. System latency affects the time it takes for actions to occur in-game - the lower your latency, the more responsive a game becomes, and the better the gameplay feels. Available in over 100 games, Reflex is used by over 50 million users each month, and with there being no downsides to the tech whatsoever, it’s a must-have for gamers wanting the most responsive experience possible.

Star WarsOutlaws is built using Massive Entertainment’s incredible Snowdrop Engine, enabling the developers to create the most detailed Star Wars™ experience you’ve ever seen, with perfectly recreated ships and iconic locations, and stunning worlds for you to visit and experience.

As part of our collaboration, Star WarsOutlaws on PC is also being enhanced with NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination (RTXDI), plus ray-traced reflections and ray-traced global illumination, taking visuals to the next level. RTXDI figures out the most important light samples in Star WarsOutlaws to cast physically accurate ray-traced shadows. Performance remains fast thanks to RTXDI’s innovative design, and on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs ray tracing gets even faster thanks to each card’s fourth generation, super fast Ray Tracing Cores.

Even if you don’t have a GeForce RTX PC or laptop, you can still enjoy Star WarsOutlaws by streaming it from the cloud with the same technologies as GeForce RTX 40-Series owners, including DLSS 3 and Reflex, thanks to NVIDIA GeForce NOW Ultimate. Members can play over 1,800 of the real and full PC versions of games they already own from Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Ubisoft Connect, and GOG.com. Head over to the GeForce NOW website to learn more.

TRIBES 3: Rivals Out Now With DLSS 2 & DLAA

Prophecy Games’ TRIBES 3: Rivals is a team-based first person shooter that elevates the genre with jetpacks, skiing, and class-based warfare. Players ski, jetpack, battle, and race to capture the enemy team’s flag, all while ferociously defending their own. Players can choose from unique classes to customize their abilities, perks, and weapon loadouts, while moving across epic terrains from snow covered peaks to haunting deserts. Teamwork, tactics, high speed, and intense combat reign supreme in this rebirth of the world’s fastest shooter.

Available now in Early Access, TRIBES 3: Rivals includes support for DLSS 2, helping up your frame rate, for faster, smoother gameplay in lightning-speed matches. Please note, when enabling DLSS you’ll need to manually adjust the Resolution Scaling option to increase performance - for DLSS Performance Mode at 4K, set the slider to 50%; at 1080p and 1440p, set it to 66% for DLSS Quality Mode.

Alternatively, enable DLAA to take image quality to 11. DLAA is an AI-based anti-aliasing mode that utilizes the same technology developed for DLSS, but instead uses a native resolution image to maximize image quality, rather than boosting performance, for an even richer experience.
