Welcome to the official release of the new NVIDIA app, an essential companion for users with NVIDIA GPUs in their PCs, laptops, and workstations.

Whether you're a gaming enthusiast or a content creator, the NVIDIA app simplifies the process of keeping your PC updated with the latest NVIDIA drivers, and enables quick discovery and installation of NVIDIA applications like GeForce NOW, RTX Remix, and NVIDIA Broadcast.

Featuring a unified GPU control center, NVIDIA app allows fine-tuning of game, program, and driver settings from a single place, while introducing a redesigned in-game overlay for convenient access to powerful gameplay recording tools, performance monitoring overlays, and game enhancing filters, including innovative new AI-powered filters for RTX users.

The NVIDIA app incorporates many of the top features from GeForce Experience and RTX Experience, includes an optional login to redeem bundles and rewards, and introduces new RTX capabilities to elevate your gaming and creative experiences.

  • Game Filter now defaults to off. It can be enabled via Settings > Features > Overlay > Game Filters and Photo Mode.

What's new in NVIDIA app 10.0.3

New features:

  • New Driver Rollback
    • NVIDIA app now offers the ability to roll-back to the previously installed driver. This option is available following the next driver installation.
  • RTX HDR Support For Multi-Monitor Setups
    • With the October 1st, 2024, or later, GeForce Game Ready Driver installed, RTX HDR is now available for PCs with multi-monitor setups.
  • New Control Panel Features
    • NVIDIA app now offers the ability to enable G-SYNC, under System > Displays.
  • User Requests
    • Users are now able to select or customize the font color in the statistics overlay, located under “Configure heads-up display”.
    • NVIDIA app overlay now notifies users if protected content restricts ShadowPlay recording.  
    • Graphics tab now offers the ability to remove manually added Programs, as well as retain sort and filter user preferences for Programs. 
  • Optimal settings support added for 9 new games including:
    • Black Myth: Wukong
    • Chained Together
    • Dungeonborne
    • F1® Manager 2024
    • Frostpunk 2

  • Fixed an issue where the Photo mode-ready filter was not showing all supported games.  
  • Fixed an issue where the send feedback form was empty.  
  • Fixed an issue where game filters stopped working on games such as Apex Legends, Genshin Impact, Doom 3, BioShock Infinite, Dead by Daylight, Rainbow 6 Siege, The Elder Scrolls Online, Portal, Grand Theft Auto V, and Team Fortress 2.
  • Various stability fixes.

What's new in NVIDIA app 10.0.2

New features:

  • New Control Panel Features
    • New display tab which identifies connected displays to your NVIDIA GPU, and allows you to change resolution, change display rotation, and view your display’s display connector type, G-SYNC and HDCP status.
    • New video tab with RTX video super resolution and RTX video HDR. RTX Video HDR now offers new customization sliders so you can customize RTX Video HDR to your preference.
  • ChatRTX Available under Discover
    • The ChatRTX tech demo is now available to download and install within the NVIDIA app. ChatRTX lets you personalize a GPT large language model (LLM) with your own content—docs, notes, images, or other data–to get contextually relevant answers. It runs locally on your RTX PC for fast and secure results.
  • User Feedback Requests
    • Added ability to sort your games and applications in the graphics tab.
    • Added ability to select different supported languages.
    • Added ability to select 1% low FPS in overlay statistics.
    • Updated “View Rig” to include driver version, Advanced Optimus status, and PC information like CPU and VRAM. 
  • Optimal settings support added for 13 new games including:
    • Abiotic Factor
    • Bellwright
    • Bodycam
    • EA SPORTSTM F1Ⓡ 24

  • Fixed an issue where game filter styles are not saved after a driver update.
  • Shortened the time to install, update or uninstall NVIDIA app.
  • Fixed an issue where HDR screenshots show incorrect colors.
  • Fixed an issue with playback of 4K AV1 video.
  • Fixed an issue with screenshots when NVIDIA Image Scaling is enabled.
  • Various stability fixes.

New features:

  • Performance Panel & One-Click Automatic GPU Tuning
    • The Performance panel allows you to monitor your GPU stats and enable automatic tuning for the best overclock settings using an advanced scanning algorithm, and manages your GPU tuning profile for you.
    • Access the Performance Panel through the “Systems” Page.
  • ShadowPlay Support for AV1
    • The NVIDIA app now supports AV1 codec for Record, Instant Replay, and Highlights, which offers up to 40% compression efficiency with respect to H.264.
    • Go to Settings > Video Capture > Codec to try out AV1.
  • Overlay User Interface Updates
    • The Photo Mode now has an updated user interface to more easily add filters.
    • The Overlay can now be dismissed by clicking outside of the panel. 
  • Optimal settings support added for 11 new games including:

Featuring a unified GPU control center, NVIDIA app allows fine-tuning of game and driver settings from a single place, while introducing a redesigned in-game overlay for convenient access to powerful gameplay recording tools, performance monitoring overlays, and game enhancing filters, including innovative new AI-powered filters for GeForce RTX users.

This initial beta release incorporates many of the top features from our existing apps, optimizes the user experience by removing underutilized features, includes an optional login to redeem bundles and rewards, and introduces new RTX capabilities to elevate your gaming and creative experiences.
