Release Highlights

This is an updated NVIDIA 3D Vision driver CD that was included in the box.

New Features
  • New 3D Vision game profiles
    • Avatar. Note: The Avatar PC demo is available to download now. If you are using the demo, follow these instructions to enable 3D mode.
      • Install the latest CD v1.16 driver kit to properly update the 3D profile
      • Launch Avatar and select Options > Display Options. This menu will have a section called “Stereoscopy” to configure in-game 3D Settings.
      • Change the Options as follows:
        • Enable 3D – Yes
        • Your TV’s 3D Format – NVIDIA 3D Vision
        • Your TV’s Diagonal Size – select the size that is correct for your display
        • Distance to the TV – select the distance you are away
        • Invert left and right eyes – disabled. The NVIDIA driver automatically configures this
      • The game will now switch into 3D mode.
      • You can toggle 3D by pressing the NVIDIA button on the front of the emitter.
      • You can also adjust the 3D depth using the depth wheel on the back of the emitter, which adjusts the same value as “3D intensity” in the Avatar display options menu.
      • Sit back and enjoy Avatar in 3D.

  • Updated 3D Vision game profiles
    • Borderlands – updated convergence and laser sight settings. Please note make sure you are using Borderlands patch v1.01 for proper 3D Vision support.
    • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – changed laser sights to NVIDIA mode, which is off by default. You need to enable advanced hotkeys to turn it o.
    • Section 8 – updated convergence values

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the NVIDIA 3D Vision CD kit
  2. Remove all old GeForce graphics drivers and GeForce 3D Vision drivers as outlined in the Quick Start Guide.
  3. Unzip the NVIDIA 3D Vision CD kit to a temporary location (example: C:NVIDIA)
  4. Browse to the temporary location and run “Launch.exe”
  5. Install the GeForce graphics driver first, reboot
  6. Install the 3D Vision driver.
  7. After the 3D Vision driver is installed, the 3D Vision Setup Wizard will automatically launch and guide you through setup of your 3D Vision system.
