Star Wars Outlaws does NOT show up in Graphics > Program Settings no matter what I do. The driver update notes say it should have Optimized settings now but it is not there.

Help! I have a black screen after starting driver update 561.09 on GTX 1080ti. I started the update from GeForce experience and somewhere during installation my screen went black and after long waiting, absolutely nothing happened. I force restarted, nothing. Only Aorus mobo logo, not even windows logo, only black screen. I then put it into safe mode, there I did get the lo-res video signal, deleted drivers for 1080ti in system manager, got an usb stick with the drivers 1 version before, 560.xx something, and at first it didn't even recognize any gpu was in my system. But after a reboot in safe mode again it did recognize it and I was able to install the driver! So succes! Only.. not!! Because when I then rebooted my system normally, I GOT A BLACK SCREEN AGAIN!! Anyone have any tips how to fix this? Are you also having issues with 561.09? MUCH appreciated

In CS2 when joining a game during the loading screen, ive been getting many crashes just when its about to finish loading. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Im using the Vulkan render by adding "-vulkan" to the CS2 launch options. UPDATE: Im crashing mid game using Direct3D as well. UPDATE 2: I can confirm that the new NVIDIA drivers made my overclock less stable. I brought all my cores down to 5.7ghz and no longer crash. So this was an issue on my end. Sorry for the confusion. I may even test "-threads 32" launch option again and see if it runs without crashing. Windows 11 27695 i9 13900kf @5.8ghz all cores NVIDIA RTX 4090 | 561.09

I update my drivers fairly regularly, but noticed a driver from april or may started causing my monitors to not turn completely off when the computer is idle. When the idle time hits, the monitors go black and turn off, but the backlight turns back on. So the monitors do not fully stay off like they typically would, but there's still a black screen. If I move the mouse, the image comes back IMMEDIATELY and everything is fine. (Normally there would be a delay for the backlight to turn back on before seeing the image again, but the backlight was still on.) I've stayed on 552.12 which I believe is the first April 2024 driver released, and this driver and prior to has never had this issue. There may be one or two more after this version that are still OK, but I have not bothered to test. Every driver from May to now all have this issue. I've tried reinstalling drivers, doing the clean install, running DDU and fully clearing everything. This is absolutely a driver bug introduced that still exists in the latest driver version, as I can reproduce this issue 100% of the time, no matter what the computer idle time is (1 minute to 1 hour), and reinstalling any older driver always resolves the issue. There is nothing running that is preventing the computer from going idle, as the screen does blank on time. Interesting. I get this issue on every driver after 537.58. I'll have to give 552.12 a try since I might have skipped it.

Welp, 552.12 has the same issue. It's back to 537.58 for me.

Add to open issues that the advance optimus on STRIX laptops not changing with the Nvidia GPU... I have ROG STRIX Scar 16 with RTX 4080 and I wrote about this problem for the last 3 updates and no one here responded and no Nvidia staff even cared to contact me and ask me about it. Many people wrote you about it and you didnt even add this issue to the open issues. It looks like you dont care about it at all..

561.09 drivers have given me a system wide, "hiccup" in my graphics, screen freezes every 3-4 seconds in ATS, Starfield FS22. Thankyou very much Nvidia for your integrity in making an industry and my 1500$ video card lucrative.

The update was counterproductive and caused a decrease in performance overall, both in demanding games and in games that only used sprites 2D (ridiculous!). So, once again, I had to revert to version 552.44, which I keep securely on my system, as it is the most stable version released this year, at least for my setup (CPU: i9-13980HX, GPU: RTX 4070 Laptop). The biggest issue I noticed is that this version 561.09 forces my screen to lower its refresh rate from 165.02 Hz to 60.01 Hz... and honestly, I didn’t pay for this system to play like mortals at just 60fps. Every time I restore the setting to 165 Hz, it automatically and mandatorily drops to 60 Hz when entering any game. Version 552.44 doesn’t cause this and provides the performance experience I expect from these components.

I am not sure what information I need to provide and what tests I need to run to help you resolve the issue described below. Since I bought a 3060Ti (Q1 2023; many, many driver releases ago), I have noticed a drop in FPS that is most likely related to DLSS and/or long gaming sessions. After 3-5 hours of using DLSS in games like Witcher 3 Next Gen, Horizon Zero Dawn/Horizon Forbidden West, FPS drops significantly (by ~50%) for no reason and stuttering occurs. CPU and GPU usage seems normal and VRAM is not fully utilized. Earlier this year, I noticed FPS lock to 50-60FPS in Witcher. This is not related to G-Sync. Restarting the games fixes the problem. Messing with DLSS settings and graphic settings in the mentioned games may trigger the issue much sooner

RTX VSR and HDR both broken in Chrome/Edge. Help! I lost RTX Video Super Res and HDR in Edge/Chrome - all of it, after the most recent driver update. 561.09. I suppose it could be a windows/chromium issue but not sure! Either way, try as I might, both of these features are no longer working! Driver 561.09 in the game Genshin Impact game version 5.0.0, NVIDIA Freestyle filters are constantly disabled, when pressing the combination Alt+F3 and Alt+F2 the panel does not open, I have already tried several times to install the driver completely using DDU in safe mode, it did not help , after several entries into the game, the Alt+F3 panel does not open again I noticed that if you delete the now created Ansel and Custom folder with filters, the panel opens again, have you now moved the filters somewhere else? I created these folders so that I could transfer filters to the latest version of the driver, because your filters are not saved after updating the diver i7 13700k RTX 4090 Windows 11 Pro 23H2 OS Build: 22631.4169

For laptop users: DO NOT UPDATE TO THIS VERSION! Everytime your computer will wake from sleep, you'll get a BSOD! Found it the hard way. I downgraded immediately. I suggest you to do so if you unfortunately updated to 561.09!

Street Fighter 6 is still bugged with this new driver. I came back to the 546.55 version again because all drivers after this one had the same problem : the game (Street Fighter 6) has huge framerate issues . When the shaders are set to low, it seems to solve it, but with a quality loss. I also have the shaders loading at startup but that doesn't change anything. I'll add there is, in the old driver, the same graphic quality as with the new drivers (which means the game displays correctly those High quality shaders in the 546.55 version, same as in the most recent updates). I have taken screenshots and videos to make sure it was the exact same quality with the exact same amount of details, and IT IS. The only difference is the huge framerate drop with the new drivers. I have signaled this before, and others too, and yet it as never been fixed. GPU: Geforce GTX 1080 CPU: i7-7700k

Reading through the forum and tired to go back to 552.44 and still have crash issues with War Thunder and Helldivers 2. My current build is a gigabyte Z390 M Gaming with a Intel Core i9-9900KF, 128gigs Ram, and a Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti Ventus OC. Not sure where to go from here in getting this to work right. Upgraded to the new processor, memory, and graphics card since I work with DaVinci Resolve. DaVinci Resolve is working fine, its just when I go to play games.

Hello Nausea4u After upgrading the power suppl, I found the graphics card I bought was faulty. I upgraded it to a Zotac Gaming Geforce RTX 4070 Twin Edge and now have no issues with games, or Davinci Resolve.

I've got major artifacting in Chrome on my RTX 3080. It glitches when you scroll through a webpage, or when you play a youtube video. I did the chrome://flags/#use-angle - use opengl method, and that seems to have fixed it for now. But I hope you all can fix it in the next update. The only reason I updated was the current Nvidia driver I was using was causing Twitch stream audio to desync after having a stream on for a period of time.

Have you tried using the built-in Windows HDR Calibration Tool to adjust your settings? You can find it at: System > Display > HDR > HDR Display Calibration.

I seem to get a black screen after the log in screen. I can see the mouse cursor and the HDR logo pop up. Alt/ctrl/delete brings up the task manager/switch user app on a black background. I managed to start in safe mode, DDU to remove drivers and rebooted. This time I had Windows. I reinstalled 560.81 and all's well. For now. Fingers crossed. 4090 oc/7900x3d. edit The brightness seems to be affected as well. Some websites go dim then bright. Reloading the page helps.

Please add set limit fps on battery option to the Nvidia Control Panel, as the one in geforce experience app is prone to inconsistancy and failures on some laptop and their configurations. Also, sometimes I find that when I launch a game in full screen I'm stuck at 60fps regardless if I'm plugged in or not. To fix this I have to winowize minecraft, then return it to fullscreen mode. this usually fixes the fps not going over 60fps, however sometimes it does not fix it and instead I have to restart the system to fix it.
