Updated my 572.47 drivers to 572.60. During the installation the screen turned black (Normally for 1 sec.) but now it stayed black. Had to reboot the system after a while. Never seen that before! I quickly reinstalled the 572.47 drivers and I'll wait until this is fixed in a new driver. (not a hotfix) What I see that it should fix black screens for other cards. (Don't have that problem!) From my point of view; it introduced a black screen. To ridiculous for words. This is a WHQL release! System: Windows 11 Pro, NVIDIA RTX3060 Ti. (Monitor connected with HDMI, not with a display port. See that the hotfix refering to display port. Don't think that connecting it with HDMI or a display port has anything to do with it. If the source of the signal goes black then both HDMI and Display port will go black.)

I got 3070ti with samsung oddysey g7 27 240mhz. Gpu randomly starting to work very loud with black screen in random moments. Everything updated, checked on windows 10/11, tried different drivers. It is takking too long to fix it, plus this problem was already before..

damn, the gpu crashes are back, which is big sad, thought nvidia had erradicated the issue as it wasnt happening on some of the newer drivers were working fine for me but rip sorry nvidia, unfortunately the issue still isnt fixed, and I dunno maybe its the game and not the driver, but who knows, now I'm just as lost as when I started having this issue

Have a issue with 572.60 and the version prior to this one, when waking up my monitor after being put on standy after 30 mins (computer was on and not in sleep or hibernate mode)the screen took a long time to wake up and after looking in the logs i saw that the nvidia driver (nvlddmkm) crashed 3 times in a row but it starts a few seconds after the crash of the Shellexperience process, this is on Windows 11 24h2 and a Geforce 4090 GPU, not experience any other crashes in games, but one black screen after disabling the monitor sleep timer and letting the rig run for a few hours i needed to reboot my rig

Need help with this one, upon downloading 572.60 whenever I open certain steam games in fullscreen everything stops and goes black and then my PC crashes and is only able to turn back on after a hard reset, attempted to reinstall drivers and even reinstall steam and all games but to no avail, I saw they released a hotfix, anyone having this same issue? and was it fixed with the hotfix.

Never had a problem with past driver updates with a triple monitor and i know its not my gpu going bad. i7-13700k z790e motherboard Asus tuf 3070 ti 1000w psu FIXED THE ISSUE for now... nvidia hotfix for the version 562.60 fixed monitor problem https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5631

Start my issues again with MSFS2020 CTD. My solution to use 572.60 was to unnistall Nvidia App. No more CTD with MSFS2020.

I'm experiencing a black screen crash when connecting my AOC monitor to my RTX 4070 Ti. The issue started after updating to NVIDIA driver 572.60 and disabling HDR. Here are the details: System Specs: GPU: RTX 4070 Ti Driver version: 572.60 (latest, causing issues) Monitor 1: AOC [Q27G3XMN] (problematic) Monitor 2: Dell [Dell S2721DGF] (works fine) Problem Description: My PC crashes to a black screen when I connect my AOC monitor to my RTX 4070 Ti. This only happens when HDR is turned off. When HDR is enabled, the monitor works fine. If I connect a Dell monitor to the same GPU, there are no issues. If I boot into safe mode, the AOC monitor works fine with the NVIDIA GPU. The issue appeared after updating to NVIDIA driver 572.60. I used DDU to uninstall the driver and installed an older version (572.16), and the problem disappeared.

dear fellow team green Do yourselves a favor DDU this driver.. and reinstall from a fresh download from the nvidia driver page, next and most importantly when reinstalling select install driver only. Do not install the nvidia app. Most of the the issues you are experiencing black screens/ crashing /frame gen/ gsync issues are caused by the app portion of the install. the driver performs fine as does frame gen without the nvidia app. You're welcome.

After installing 572.60 my pc is not crashing with EVERYTHING, from just being at the desktop to gaming. I tried rolling back to previous drivers using ddu, even 560 versions and no luck. Did this update really brick my 4090????

The newer 572. drivers causes different games sometimes to crash: - Marvel Rivals has a bug and you get sometimes a „GPU dump Crash“ - Cyberpunk crashes with Ray Recontruction enabled - Fortnite crashes with Nanite enabled I hope for a fix in the newer drivers

rtx 5070 ti. I am getting black screens and reboots even when not doing gpu heavy tasks. Sometimes I have no problem for hours but then suddenly it crashes. I had no problem with rtx 3070 and previous drivers.

TL;DR Win11 24H2 KB5052093 may have got me operational again with 560.81 drivers. I believe I finally got my system back up and running without random black screens (GPU disconnect/power offs) after using multiple versions of the 572 series from .60 and below. Even falling all the way back to 560.81 drivers without GeForce Experience or the Nvidia app (just drivers). Many attempts for a system restore failed me. Even rolled back AMD Chipset drivers but I continued to have the black screen errors after installing the 572's. Was about to restore from backups software but it was older than I wanted. Microsoft then pushed out KB5052093 on me. After a reboot, I was finally, knock on wood, after to play VR games without the GPU crashing as well as no random black screens. Will provide feedback if I do get black screens in the next day or so after a few more reboots. Then I'll try 566.36 drivers again. Win11 24H2 AMD 7950x w/iGPU enabled and HDMI connected to a monitor ASUS TUF 4090 HDMI connected to LG C1 and DP connected to PSVR2 adapter and HMD ASRock Taichi x670e 32GB RAM OS SSD

The Video Image Settings are GREAT (Deinterlacing, RTX video enhancement, Super resolution and High Dynamic Range. It would be absolutely amazing to be able to choose to have these processes run on a secondary GPU instead of the GPU0. Performance of video during Gaming or 3D heavy applications is very poor. This would be a great task for a secondary GPU. Thank you!

Very happy that SteamVR is fixed on 50-series. No more stuttering. Unfortunately, I'm also affected by the "primary monitor randomly turns off for a second" problem. It happens not only during gameplay, but also just on the desktop. Highly annoying. My primary is a LG UltraGear 32GS95UX-B via HDMI, with a secondary LG DualUp via DP (which is not affected). Primary turns off for 0.5-2 seconds on average every 30 minutes or so.

Started getting the occasional black screen with the 572.16 drivers and continuing with 572.60; installing resulted in a black screen requiring a reboot which I've never seen before. Black screen can happen when doing nothing more than browsing the internet in MS Edge. Checking the event log: Event ID: 4107 - Source Display - Level information A caller specified the SDC_FORCE_MODE_ENUMERATION flag in a call to the SetDisplayConfig() API Anyways decided to roll back to 566.14 and no more black screens or event errors. My graphic card is a RTX-4070 Asus Dual oc. What a horrible mess the RTX-5xxx launch has become. Black screens with the latest drivers also affecting my 4070! Melting power cables (again), missing ROP's, silently dropping support for Physics with some games, deary me...

572 Drivers screwed HDR+VRR to my Samsung TV+ RTX3080ti setup, and driver after driver launch, my hope that this issue will be fixed is dimming. Gaming with both VRR+HDR activated makes my screen a flicker show. Every single driver after 572.16, hotfixes included, I and other people are pointing to this. C`mon Nvidia, listen to your costumers complaints.

I’m having the exact same issues, I’m also using a 3080 and Samsung tv, had to roll back to previous update works fine again. Feels like they’re not interested in fixing the problem. Funny how this issue arises when 50 series cards are released…

99% sure new driver updates bricked my pc, after i installed them it wouldn’t let me open anything in administrator mode, wouldn’t let me open task and device manager at all, games would stutter, and to cap it all off none of the power options would do anything. it wouldn’t shut down, restart, or go into sleep. it would stay on like nothing was clicked. i had to hard shut it down and once i got home to boot it back up, it wouldn’t boot windows. i haven’t even been able to get into BIOS to see what the hell the issue is. it’s currently stuck on a black screen with the little loading circle instead of a mouse cursor. that’s pretty much the only thing that’s functional
