RTX 5080 GPU hotspot at 255 degrees – that has to be wrong, right?

. Since neither of the 2 softwares know what the 5080 is, it could definitely be wrong. But, at that temp it should have automatically shutdown. What temp does the NVIDIA App Overlay say it is? Open Paint and pour black on the canvas full screen, then use the [alt]+[r] to get the NVIDIA Overlay. The NVIDIA app default, I think is right side mid screen. .

i have the same issue with ICUE and GPUZ?

Just got my MSI 5080, same thing, CPUID HWMonitor and FurMark2 show 255 degrees

50 series doesn't have hotspot sensors anymore.

Got my 5090 today. 255 hot spot temp. Dosent go up or down. Gpu feels cold. Only green color in gpu tweaker 3. No throttling. But that 255C freaks me out

. There is not Hot Spot temp sensor or the softwares are reading the wrong sensor. Likely, no HS sensor. .

Gpuz and Icue shows me gpu hotspot at 255 degrees.
