. I do not read other forum threads, but the issue most likely comes down to using the 566.xx - 572.xx drivers. Simply install the 537.58 or 561.09, but some people swear by the 566.36. Then wait for the 58x.xx driver. .

. Also, its not a Critical Flaw, the CableMod adapters were recalled because they were causing the power ports to melt down and burn the cards. Stop using it. https://cablemod.com/adapterrecall/ .

Hi there, I'm reaching out regarding frequent GPU (RTX 4090) crashes. I had a lot of trouble working a month ago with frequent GPU crashes. It started two weeks after I received my PC and suddenly the fan was spinning at high speed and the screen was black or with broken graphics. This became more and more frequent until it was crashing more than 5 times a day. It took a lot of troubleshooting to resolve this issue, and I believe I have finally identified the cause. I would like to report my findings. I closely followed this thread: Reddit link -> https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/102tmbh/strix_4090_black_screen_gpu_fans_full_speed_issues/?rdt=42373 , and it turns out that this issue affects a significant number of users. The most commonly reported cause appears to be poor contact in the CableMod cable connected to the GPU. Interestingly, this issue does not always occur immediately after setting up the PC but can develop weeks later, as in my case. It seems that regular use gradually worsens the contact. Before reinstalling Windows, I decided to reseat the CableMod cable, and I discovered that the connection is extremely sensitive. If the cable is too tightly inserted, too loose, or even slightly pressed by the side panel of the case, the GPU disconnects instantly. To test this further, I left the side panel off and ensured the cable was properly connected. Since then, I have not experienced any crashes for the past month. I believe this is a critical flaw for a high-end GPU. I spent an excessive amount of time identifying the issue, and it significantly affected my perception of this GPU. I am unsure if your team is fully aware of this problem, but I sincerely hope it will be addressed. Thank you!
