I have been researching this common HDR flickering problem with HDR on 3000 series and up cards. My display flickers pretty badly when I enable HDR. It's so bad that it looks like its having a power supply failure or its creating visual anomalies like when you overclock a piece of hardware too hard. There is one person on Reddit who is a small voice in a loud crowd of similar HDR issues giving one solution. He suggests that the culprit for flickering HDR on TV's is the "Set up Audio" in the Nvidia Control Panel. By disabling it you are HDR flicker free until you launch another game where it resets itself back to trying to use HDMI audio. This is ridiculous, I've waited so long to finally try HDMI 2.1 and people are having this flickering problem too it's not me! It makes me sad that the only things that work are my old AMD card and the Xbox Series X which we all know runs rdna 2 with ZERO HDMI 2.1 problems. Can we get some activity on this topic because I also understand that nobody likes to use HDR so i'm in a small minority of gamers. I just need them to fix this so I can restore my love for PC gaming because it's been destroyed many times for stupid issues like this. Thanks for reading.
