One week later, same problem. Hey, by the time the next X4 patch releases this MIGHT be fixed!

It used to be that you could stop a game from starting very fast, then wait for the DLC to download, then start-it. But some bright individual "fixed" that "problem" so now I get to watch the download of the DLC WHILE the game without the DLC is booting up...

Seems sometimes it works, some times it doesn't work. I think some of the machines are not properly getting updated and it depends on luck.

I've been using GFN for a long time now and I keep losing saves on many different games. This service is notorious for its inability to solve its save sync issues, I lost countless days of game time combined because of this shit.

Remnant 2 is so difficult you can't even play it!

The game has a timeout of "not playing the game" and it kicks people out of their session for "inactivity" while the patch is SLOWLY updating the game files (for some reason seams disk speed is a crawling 100mb/s), then you loose all the patch progress after getting kicked out, and you start again. The guy that came out with that not playing the game timeout should get employee of the month reward!

it's not crashing, someone made the stupid decision to put a timeout of "not playing the game" so what's happening is the patch is trying to update the game files but the disk write speed is very low (100mb/s) and it takes too long so the timeout kicks you out of your session and all patching progress is lost, so then you have to start again, to same result... and this is all because someone very smart decided to put a timeout without considering patching times.

For everyone else having problems with their saves, I can't say it will work for you but the way I fixed mine is by booting up the game on my machine, loading my save, then SAVING again, from within the game, then exiting the game and waiting for my steam to upload the fresh saves to the cloud. This finally busted the cache or whatever the hell it did, and now I can see (only the fresh) saves on GFN, though all other old saves are still not in the cloud, but that's fine cause my game progress is what I cared about.
I suspect this is a GFN/steam related cache busting issue that happened because I refused to leave the GFN game server until the very last second during the latest GFN server maintenance a few days ago. Moral of the story, if GFN gives you a maintenance countdown, don't play until the very last second...
Good luck!

Already checked that, everything is correct, GFN just doesn't download the files from steam

My X4 Foundation save games are gone from GFN too, but they are on my local machine and steam cloud so it's definitely a GFN issue, as alwyas...
EDIT [SOLED]:
For anyone else having similar issues, the way I solved mine is by booting up the game on my machine, loading my save, then SAVING again, from within the game, then exiting the game and waiting for my steam to upload the fresh saves to the cloud. Same problem here. Was working just fine last night at 1AM, now... no sync. I even went into my local game, deleted some of the save game files to decrease the disk usage, then synced up from local to steam cloud, but GeforceNow still doesn't load them.
I have to say that after X4 not working on Geforce NOW for a whole week just at the beginning of the month, now this stuff again... I'm starting to wonder why I'm still paying the 20$ monthly sub for this service if it's so unreliable. Major L
BTW last night when it was last working for me, it was right before the "schedule maintenance" downtime. I guess someone needs to do better QA on those rolling updates...
