On my desktop with a RTX 4080 I am not really having any issues with the 572 branch of drivers, although I am just using one monitor at a time. The only game I am having issue with is SotTR crashing, but I don't play it much anymore anyway.
Although my Lenovo laptop with a RTX 4080, I've been getting freezes in Windows just on desktop at times and games don't run that well and even had one bsod playing a game. Any driver before the 572 branch runs without issue on my laptop.
So I am kinda on the fence with this driver. Runs fine on my desktop but on my laptop it's pretty unstable.

I'm crashing in SotTR also with this driver. Benchmark runs fine but just running around in game for a minute or so the game closes with device hung error pop-up. Desktop with a RTX 4080, Windows 11 24h2. Other games I've played so far were fine.

The only problem is that they are finding that these issues degrade the cpu overtime. It takes 4 to 6 months for the crashing to start in games. They fixed the shader compilation issue with bios updates from motherboard manufactures which changed the power profiles, but now people a few months later are crashing in games that showed no issues before it started happening. The algorithm for the cpu's are requesting too much voltage and power, and it is degrading the cpu's overtime. When the fix for these cpu's comes out next month, I would advise updating your bios to prevent it from happening.

I get black flickering every time on the trees near the Church of Elleh in Limgrave. Also had it on buildings as you enter the capitol city looking down over the first balcony. These two spots I always see this glitch. Didn't play much more of the game on these 555.xx drivers and just went back to previous branch pretty quickly as it was pretty distracting.
edit: I am using flawless widescreen on my laptop to enable 16:10 ratio and unlocking framerate. Also have the framerate unlocked on my desktop both playing in offline mode with EAC disabled. Might be the reason why we are getting the shadow flickering in some area's, although going back to the last branch of drivers there is no problem with using flawless widescreen.

I play the game on max settings, HDR on, no raytracing, native 4K 12bit 120hz on my desktop and 2K 10 bit 240hz on my laptop. I play with no raytracing, because even though the GPU usage is 100% with it on, the power wattage is very low, about 1/3 less than without it, causing low fps in most of the outdoor areas of the game.

I have the same problem with both 555.xx drivers. It happens on both my desktop and laptop that are running RTX 4080's.

I started playing Alan Wake 2 again recently. I am getting quite a bit of ghosting when moving the camera fast left or right, when using the flashlight in wooded areas that have a lot of brush and trees when motion blur is on. Turning off the flashlight or disabling motion blur sort of fixes it. It happens, both on my laptop with a RTX 4080 and a desktop with a RTX 4080, but not on my PC that has a RTX 3080ti. The only difference is that I am using Frame Gen and Path Tracing on the RTX 4080 systems.
The framerate is fine but when there is a lot of trees and brush you can see the trail of the foliage. not really a stutter but the image is not smooth and it kinda blurs and skips with an outline of the brush in the light. Disabling motion blur helps but then the image is even less smooth. I don't have any issues with ghosting in town or in buildings it's just the forest areas. Also it really only happens when moving the camera fast and doesn't happen if I make small less fast movements. I've gone back a few drivers and I still am getting this issue. Not sure why it's happening or when it started.

I am getting a bug on all drivers since the release of the Nvidia App. In Lords of the Fallen with HDR on, if the Nvidia overlay is active the colors become extremely washed out. Also the shader cache that's built up in the game gets invalidated causing the game to not play smooth in areas where the shader cache files were already built. The game will suffer performance issues until you reinstall or update the video driver and making sure not to have the overlay enabled so that the shader cache functions properly.
edit: Also having the Nvidia overlay running in Dragon's Dogma 2 when HDR is enabled causes the image to become washed out like LotF. It might be that I use RTX HDR in other games and it gets set to on in the global settings in the Nvidia App. Haven't tried just disabling it in the global settings to see if it's just that setting that's causing it. I've just been disabled the overlay completely.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider the 3rd part of the benchmark I am getting no shadows in Paititi's marketplace. In game everything is fine. I am running the Epic games version and the last time I ran the test was months ago and it was fine. I am using Windows 11 and a RTX 4080.
I have the game installed on another older PC and a laptop with older drivers so I'll see if it's doing it on those as I don't want to role back as I am playing Horizon and Dragons Dogma 2 and want the latest drivers for those games.
Edit: Verified the games files fixed it, so not a driver bug.

I think I found the problem. I had set my texture setting to high and as I am playing at 4K the v-ram was being maxed out.
Setting it to medium limited it to around 10gb range and fixed most of the slow downs. It's not perfect and reloading still fixes it completely but it's better then it was. My settings are all set to ultra, except textures now set to medium, DLSS performance, with raytracing enabled and DLSS reconstruction. but no path tracing. I get on average 40fps in the forest areas, but get 50 to 60fps in the Alan Wake parts of the story. Thanks for the response.
edit: The VRAM isn't the issue, still happens on lower texture resolutions. Everywhere in the game is fine except for the forest area. It starts off fine but as you traverse more it losses 5 to 10 fps on my system. Still might email you my game settings and Nvidia Control Panel settings. But for now the game settings are set to ultra with ray tracing and dlss reconstruction, but no path tracing. Also I have not touched any of the settings in Nvidia Control Panel except for shader cache set to unlimited. Alan Wake's part of the story runs fine it's just the forest area's that have problems.

Alan Wake 2 is still slowing down when loading into a new area. The game plays fine if I relaunch the game each time I enter a new area. The framerate drops by like 10 to 15 fps if I continue to play after finishing one area and entering another. Only fix is to close the game and relaunch it. I am still on a RTX 3080ti so the fix in this driver might be targeted for the 4000 series gpus.

So far this driver has been good. Dead Space Remake and Assassin's Creed Valhalla which were crashing to desktop in a couple of previous driver versions are now playing fine even with long game sessions. A few other games I tried were fine as well. I do get a little G-sync compatible flicker in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Starfield but I just disable it for those games.

You can get some of the most recent drivers dating back quite a bit at Nvidia Advanced Driver Search page https://www.nvidia.com/download/find.aspx . Just input your specs and OS in the drop down boxes and it will give you a list of drivers you can try.
