Lots of games that are supported and have optimised profiles are not being detected and a lot of the ones that are still can't have the settings detected or applied.

Added Black Mesa to the game list and i know it doesn't have any official profiles to select but the app outright blocks me from changing any of the settings i used to be able to change like the ones in the control panel etc. I am forced to have to use the Nvidia control panel again to make modifications to any of the apps i add that aren't supported by default.

When i used to manually add unsupported games or apps to Nvidia app it used to still lets me change settings for that game/app but now it just shows "program doesn't support optimisation" and doesn't show me any of the settings i used to be able to change so the only way i can do it is by using Nvidia control panel. Seems to have taken a step backwards in functionality.

@Rdalcroft_- I've been using emulators since the early 2000's and know how to use control panel and RivaTuner etc so i don't really get what your trying to say here, locking a frame rate on a emulator or game that already has a locked frame rate doesn't add extra frames does it? (that's a rhetorical question btw). What I have been doing is using a 3rd party app for frame generation that costs money on Steam. I'd prefer to have that functionality built into the Control Panel or the Nvidia app itself.
@jaafaman - "I would rather prefer" cool story bro. We aren't here to talk about what YOU would rather prefer. Stick to the topic or don't reply, easy.

Frame generation and upscaling options for ALL apps. Would be very nice to use on emulators and old games that are locked to 30fps etc.

I open the broadcast app. go to the camera tab and then when i go back to speakers it turns it off. Sometimes i have to do it once or twice.

Hi, i noticed something a little scary the other day. I have a 2560 x1440 165hz monitor but for some old games like the PC port of Perfect Dark i put the resolution of my monitor to a DSR setting of 5120 x 2880 to play the game with much sharper graphics and can see more details in the background etc. Anyway i forgot to switch back to 1440p after playing and went onto google chrome to watch a YouTube video. I noticed all of a sudden my GPU fans were going to max speed and when i checked the GPU temp it was really high compared to normal and at 100% load. I checked what settings i had on in Nvidia control panel and i was using RTX Video Enhancement Super Resolution @ x4. When i put this back down to x2 and my monitor resolution back to 1440p the GPU went back to being cool like it normally is with silent fans and watching a video on chrome/YouTube wasn't causing it to cook the GPU @ 80c+

if you right click on the speaker icon on the bottom right on the taskbar then click on "sound settings" you can select the correct audio device for your system. Windows must have selected the Nvidia audio as the default for some reason all you have to do is change it to the right sound device that is listed in playback.

I still have all these same problems and now to top it off after canary updates my games will suddenly half their frame rates for no reason whilst streaming after about 5 minutes. Tried other drivers and nothing worked except for playing the game on the standard release of windows 11 but i still have webcam issues on that version too. It has been going on for so long now and really annoying.

Reported this to microsoft in case it's a webcam driver issue or something to do with windows/OBS. I use ESET for anti virus and it has webcam protection that i forgot to mention but all apps i use are allowed for webcam use.

Still the same massive problems even on the newer bug fix version. Cam doesn't want to change resolution. When i select 640 x 480 the cam just hangs. Blank box and light on the cam on as if it's working. None of my custom zoom or focus settings for the cam stick either, when the software is started again it goes back to default. It's very annoying because anytime i want to play a game and stream i waste between 5 to 10 minutes just trying to get the cam to work.
It seems to be working now.
