Seems to have been only occurring when on battery (although last night, when I plugged in my charger it did BSOD instantly - not sure if it was same BSOD issue or something different, because the BSOD screen disappeared too quickly for me to read what the error was).

What's weird is that whenever these BSOD occured, I was running software that shouldn't have been using the rtx2070 but should have been using the embedded intel 630 (was just watching videos, browsing on Chrome and using MS Word and Spotify - none of these should have been utilising the rtx2070).
Anyone else had this BSOD?
Which version of the driver is installed? Standard or DCH? You may need the Universal DCH one. Did you also install them from NVIDIA's site or Razer's site?
I think Razer is a bit more strict about their drivers like Apple and Sony VAIO's. If the driver package doesn't come from them, a power saving feature or special hardware functions are turned off which can cause the GPU to not maintain it's correct temperature.
I'm running the 430.64 DCH game ready driver from nvidia's site. I just noticed tonight that a new driver was released too and might see if clean installing that via DDU will help. Else I may have to revert back to older drivers from the Razer support website

was your BSOD error msg: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys)"?
I'm getting the same, and thinking of trying this workaround for the TDR issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_4/comments/1xzzn4/tdrdelay_10_fixed_my_crashes_since_last_patch/
