GeForce Evangelist Jacob Freeman and the NVIDIA team are heading back to Texas for QuakeCon 2024, this year taking place between August 8th and 11th. First held in August 1996, QuakeCon celebrates all-things id, and now all-things Bethesda Software, too. For attendees, there’s round-the-clock gaming, special announcements, tournaments, tabletop events, meetups and giveaways. And additional QuakeCon programming will also be streamed via the official Bethesda Twitch channel throughout the weekend so players all over the world get to participate in the festivities.
If you’re attending, be sure to come to the NVIDIA space. You can try demos of our newest RTX technologies, and go hands-on with games and exclusive demos running on GeForce RTX powered machines from ASUS, Falcon Northwest and Maingear. Of course, all accelerated and enhanced by DLSS, Reflex and ray tracing!
There will also be prize giveaways including ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics cards and more! Also, GeForce_JacobF will announce more prize-winning and swag opportunities on his X account during the show.
Additionally, if you’re participating in the QuakeCon Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN event, GeForce Garage will be awarding owners of the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems with GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, customized with limited edition QuakeCon backplates from V1tech. There will also be vouchers for custom cables from Bespoke Baka, and the grand prize winner will be flown to our HQ in California to star in a special Rig Spotlight video.
