NVIDIA’s journey in display technology has been marked by relentless innovation - the launch of G-SYNC in 2013 eradicated stutter by harmonizing the monitor’s refresh rate with the GPU’s output, and that was just the beginning:
Announced at Gamescom, NVIDIA and MediaTek are working together to make the industry’s best gaming display technologies more accessible to gamers globally. The companies’ collaboration integrates the full suite of NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies into the world’s most popular scalers.
Integrating G-SYNC into MediaTek scalers eliminates the need for a separate G-SYNC module, streamlining the production process and reducing costs.
A highlight of this collaboration is the introduction of G-SYNC Pulsar, a new technology that offers 4x the effective motion clarity alongside a smooth and tear-free variable refresh rate (VRR) gaming experience.
G-SYNC Pulsar enables you to track targets with increased precision
G-SYNC Pulsar will debut on newly announced monitors, including the ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR, Acer Predator XB273U F5 and AOC AGON PRO AG276QSG2. These 2560x1440 Pulsar monitors, expected later this year, feature 360Hz refresh rates and HDR support.
G-SYNC Pulsar stands as a testament to NVIDIA's unwavering commitment to innovation and redefining the boundaries of gaming technology, offering gamers a visual experience that is smoother, clearer, and more immersive than ever before. And our new collaboration with MediaTek allows for the creation of feature-rich G-SYNC monitors at a more affordable price, expanding the availability of these premium products to a broader audience.
