Feeding the DGX Beast: Internal and External Networking Upgrades in the DGX Family
, NVIDIA
, NVIDIA
The NVIDIA DGX solution has grown exponentially in its processing and problem solving abilities, moving from the DGX-1 to the DGX A100 in just four years. A massive change has been made on the networking side to keep up with the bandwidth requirements of an increasing number of faster GPUs. We'll cover how internal and external networking solutions for DGX have evolved in three areas to satisfy the data-hungry GPUs: connecting GPUs within DGX with NVSwitch, connecting multiple DGX servers with InfiniBand, and connecting to fast flash storage using Ethernet and key NVIDIA storage partners.
