Conversational AI technologies are becoming ubiquitous, with countless products taking advantage of automatic speech recognition, natural language understanding, and speech synthesis coming to market. This technology is not reserved exclusively to the providers of smart personal assistants. Thanks to tools such as NeMo, Transfer Learning Toolkit, and Jarvis, developing conversational AI applications is easier than ever, enabling a much broader range of applications, such as systems for call center management, personal video management and search, note-taking applications, or a new generation of screen readers, audio book generators, and many more. We'll give an overview of the conversational AI landscape and discuss how an organization can start developing conversational AI applications.
