Accelerating Automobile Noise and Vibration Analysis Using GPUs

Noise and vibration analysis of automobiles is a computationally demanding computer-aided engineering application. This is particularly true for electric vehicles, because they are excited in a higher frequency range than combustion vehicles. This poster presents results demonstrating that NVIDIA's 80 GB A100 GPUs dramatically reduce the time required for this type of analysis, shortening job turnaround times from days to hours.
