Project G-Assist on GeForce RTX -tietokoneen tekoälyavustaja. Yksinkertaisten ääni- tai tekstikomentojen avulla G-Assist voi esimerkiksi maksimoida suorituskyvyn ja optimoida tehokkuuden, säätää pelin asetuksia, tarjota reaaliaikaista diagnostiikkaa, kartoittaa suorituskykyä ja mukauttaa oheislaitteita. Kaikki tämä toimii paikallisesti GeForce RTX -näytönohjaimen avulla.

G-Assistin voi asentaa NVIDIA App -sovelluksen Löydä-osiosta. Asennuksen jälkeen se on käytettävissä NVIDIA App -peittokuvasta tai painamalla yhdistelmää Alt+G. Laitteen tekoäly

G-Assist toimii GeForce RTX -näytönohjaimessa, toisin kuin valtavat pilvipohjaiset tekoälymallit, jotka edellyttävät verkkoyhteyttä ja maksullista tilausta. Siksi se on nopea, maksuton ja käytettävissä ilman verkkoyhteyttä.

Laitteistossa G-Assist käyttää Llama-pohjaista instruct-mallia, jossa on kolme miljardia parametria, ja tiivistää kielen ymmärtämisen pieneen murto-osaan (alle 1 prosenttiin) tämän päivän suuren mittakaavan tekoälymallien koosta. Tämän ansiosta G-Assist toimii monenlaisissa RTX-laitteistoissa hyvällä suorituskyvyllä.

Oman avustajan luominen

G-Assist on suunniteltu yhteisön laajennettavaksi. NVIDIA julkaisee GitHub-säilön, jossa on malleja G-Assistille lisätoimintoja opettavien laajennusten luomiseen. Yhteisökehittäjät voivat määrittää toimintoja yksinkertaisissa JSON-muodoissa ja sijoittaa sitten määritystiedostot määrättyyn hakemistoon, josta G-Assist voi ladata ne ja tulkita niitä.
