This immersive lab introduces participants to the cutting-edge field of imitation learning for robotics. Using NVIDIA's GR00T and Isaac Lab frameworks, attendees will experience the full pipeline of imitation learning, from data collection via teleoperation to training and deploying an autonomous robot policy. The lab combines theoretical concepts with practical, hands-on exercises, allowing participants to gather data using Apple Vision Pro, synthesize additional training examples, and train a robot using Robomimic within the Isaac Lab environment. By the end of the session, attendees will have created and tested their own imitation learning model, gaining valuable insights into this powerful approach for robot skill acquisition.
For participants who plan on leveraging the Apple Vision Pro for data capture, please note that glasses are not permitted to be worn with the device.

This hands-on lab will explore how to leverage generative AI and GPU-accelerated ROS 2 packages to enhance robotic workloads in real time. Gain experience with optimizing ROS 2 packages for GPU acceleration, including techniques for improving performance and reducing latency in AI perception, navigation, and more. We'll also demonstrate NVIDIA Isaac's powerful AI and simulation tools, designed for seamless integration with ROS 2.
