NVIDIA Sessions at AU

Tuesday, October 15 at 1:30–2:30 p.m. | View Session

Teaching Tectonism to AI is an exploration that focuses on the convergence of AI and tectonism. Tectonism, as a leading subsidiary style of parametricism, poses a unique challenge for current text-to-image AI tools due to their limited comprehension of structural dependencies in architectural representations. This presentation will showcase the potential of merging structural topology generation tools with generative AI across various architectural typologies and how this is integrated into early-stage ideations at Zaha Hadid Architects.

Tuesday, Oct 15 at 4:30–5:30 p.m. | View Session

Join Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) to discover its journey of adopting and deploying OpenUSD to build an interoperable spatial technology stack (STS) with tools that include Maya software, 3ds Max software, Epic Unreal, and McNeel Rhino. The STS lets ZHA build immersive digital twins that enable deeper integrations between design and construction, enhance spatial experiences, and increase efficiencies in design and review cycles. In this session, we’ll cover how no-code or low-code platforms and APIs, such as NVIDIA Omniverse™, are enabling ZHA to build proprietary tools. These tools allow the firm to interact with and manipulate its datasets in processes such as robotics and digital fabrication. This approach reduces material waste while increasing sustainability and innovation. Join us to explore how this innovative approach revolutionizes architectural design, making it more engaging, responsible, and accessible to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

With the dramatic shift in the diverse use cases of real-time visualization, traditional 3D computer-adied design, high-performance computing, and generative AI across industries, a one-size-fits-all approach is no longer viable. Balancing increasing IT demands, tighter deadlines, and budget constraints necessitates investing in the right technology for the right users at the right time. AI is emerging as the defining technology of our era, and determining where to start can be challenging. In this session, discover how to best equip your organization for success with insights into using Lenovo solutions to maximize your Autodesk experience—from initial steps to hybrid working, generative AI, and larger global deployments—helping you reduce costs and enhance workforce agility.

Wednesday, Oct 16 at 3:00–4:00 p.m. | View Session

AI is transforming every company. An organization’s technology stack needs to be flexible enough to respond to all the business demands for AI—now and in the future. For Autodesk users, the same systems that run your design technology today will be the main tool to access AI features both in the cloud and on your local machine. That combination of local and centralized AI features is important to understand as we implement the next generation of technology. In this panel, leaders from Dell Technologies, Intel, and NVIDIA will discuss the role of AI at the edge and how to build a strategy that works for the road ahead.

Thursday, Oct 17 at 12:00–1:00 p.m. | View Session

This panel features members of the Alliance for OpenUSD, highlighting technical visionaries as they explore the role of Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) in fostering open data exchange—not just in media and entertainment, but across industries. From traditional filmmaking to virtual production, architecture, engineering, construction, automotive, and manufacturing, this team of experts will explore how USD opens the door for seamless connectivity and collaboration across large-scale 3D projects of all kinds.
