Over 600 RTX Games & Apps Now Available, Plus 20 New RTX and DLSS Games Announced, Including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Dune: Awakening, FINAL FANTASY XVI, Killing Floor 3, Avowed & Black State

In December we celebrated the release of over 500 RTX-enhanced games and apps. And now, we’ve already surpassed 600 RTX games and apps, as adoption of NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex and advanced ray-traced effects continues to accelerate!

RTX encompasses an ecosystem of technologies that make high-performance, high fidelity gaming a reality. Ray Tracing, powered by dedicated RT Cores, brings immersive and realistic lighting and reflections to games. NVIDIA DLSS, made possible by Tensor Cores, enables industry-leading AI graphics acceleration, capable of delivering up to 5 times faster performance in the most immersive games, like Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077, and Star Wars™ Outlaws.

RTX is also integrated in the world’s leading creative applications, accelerating workflows by orders of magnitude, powering exciting AI tools and enhancements, and enabling real-time ray-traced previews in apps that previously took hours to render even a single frame.

And the RTX momentum continues - at Gamescom 2024, we’re announcing 20 new RTX and DLSS integrations.

Below, you can learn more about DLSS and RTX technologies coming to Arena Breakout: Infinite, Avowed, Black State, Concord, Dragon AgeTM: The Veilguard, Dune: Awakening, Empire of the Ants, Eternal Strands, FINAL FANTASY XVI, FragPunk, Funko Fusion, Greedfall II: The Dying World, Killing Floor 3, Kingmakers, Mecha BREAK, Once Human, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, Retrieval, SPINE, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and Unawake.

Also, Black Myth: Wukong launches today with full ray tracing and DLSS 3, and we’ve launched a new Star Wars™ Outlaws GeForce RTX 40 Series bundle. There’s a new fully ray-traced and DLSS 3.5-accelerated Half-Life 2: An RTX Remix Project trailer to watch. And we’ve got new trailers and updates on RTX technology coming to Marvel Rivals and Wuthering Waves.

NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 & Full Ray Tracing Coming To Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™

Uncover one of history's greatest mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, launching later this year from publisher Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Step into the shoes of Indiana Jones and embark on a single-player, narrative-driven journey that spans the globe during the height of the legendary archaeologist’s career.

On PC, make your adventures even more cinematic and immersive thanks to the inclusion of full ray tracing, which can be accelerated and further enhanced by NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction. From the hallowed halls of the Vatican and the sunken temples of Sukhothai to the pyramids of Egypt and the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, you’ll experience Indy’s adventure at top quality on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs!

Full ray tracing, also known as path tracing, accurately simulates light throughout an entire scene. It is used by visual effects artists to create film and TV graphics that are indistinguishable from reality. However, until the arrival of GeForce RTX GPUs with RT Cores and the AI-powered acceleration of NVIDIA DLSS, full ray tracing in real-time video games was impossible.

As demonstrated by full ray tracing in other top titles, image quality, realism and immersion are a priority, and in the case of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle you’ll have an authentic Indiana Jones experience on your GeForce RTX PC or laptop.

To take full ray tracing to the next level, NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction will further enhance ray-traced image quality for all GeForce RTX GPUs by replacing hand-tuned denoisers with an NVIDIA supercomputer-trained AI network that generates higher-quality pixels in between sampled rays.

Trained with 5X more data than DLSS 3, using offline-rendered images that require far more computational power than can be delivered during a real-time game, DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction recognizes different ray-traced effects to make smarter decisions about using temporal and spatial data, and to retain high frequency information for superior-quality upscaling. The results are superior to using hand-tuned denoisers, delivering higher fidelity ray-traced effects.

Working in tandem with DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Ray Reconstruction maximizes image quality and performance across all GeForce RTX GPUs, delivering the absolute best experience in ray-traced games.

Additionally, all GeForce RTX gamers can activate NVIDIA Reflex, reducing system latency in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. System latency affects the time it takes for actions to occur in-game - the lower your latency, the more responsive a game becomes, and the better the gameplay feels. Available in over 100 games, Reflex is used by over 50 million users each month, and with there being no downsides to the tech whatsoever, it’s a must-have for gamers wanting the most responsive experience possible.

Even if you don’t have a GeForce RTX PC or laptop, you can still enjoy Indiana Jones and The Great Circle by streaming it from the cloud with NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Ultimate members can play with the same technologies as GeForce RTX 40-Series owners, including DLSS 3 and Reflex, even on low-end devices. Members can stream over 1,900 of the real and full PC versions of games they already own from Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Ubisoft Connect, and GOG.com. Head over to the GeForce NOW website to learn more.

Black Myth: Wukong Out Now With Full Ray Tracing & DLSS 3

Embark on a thrilling journey through Chinese mythology in Black Myth: Wukong, the long-awaited and much-anticipated action role-playing game from Game Science, that’s out now! As the Destined One, explore a vast and enchanting world filled with challenges and jaw-dropping wonders. Discover hidden truths behind ancient legends and unveil secrets of a glorious past, enhanced by full ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 3; use the power of the GeForce RTX 40 Series for an unparalleled PC experience.

Full ray tracing is a demanding but highly accurate way to render light. Also known as path tracing, this advanced ray tracing technique is used by visual effects artists to create film and TV graphics that are indistinguishable from reality, but until the arrival of GeForce RTX GPUs with RT Cores, and the AI-powered acceleration of NVIDIA DLSS, full ray tracing in real-time video games was impossible.

In Black Myth: Wukong full ray tracing increases the fidelity and quality of lighting, reflections and shadows. Reflections on water reflect all surrounding detail. Water caustics add further realism, accurately rendering the refraction and reflection of light. Particles are reflected, making battles more dynamic and exciting. Fully ray-traced lighting ensures lighting indoors and outdoors is pixel perfect, darkening areas where light is occluded or doesn’t reach, and realistically illuminating the world by bouncing light. And in concert with the lighting system, contact hardening and softening fully ray traced shadows are cast everywhere, rendering the smallest of shadows from leaves and pebbles, and those from geometry-rich buildings, the main character, and the gigantic bosses that must be overcome.

Head on over to our Black Myth: Wukong launch article to learn even more about the game’s fully ray-traced effects, to see how it performs on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs using DLSS 3 with every setting maxed out.

About Star Wars Outlaws

With development led by Massive Entertainment, Star Wars Outlaws will invite players to experience the Star Wars galaxy like never before through an original story set between Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™. As the Galactic Empire relentlessly pursues the final defeat of the Rebel Alliance, the criminal underworld thrives. Fans will play as cunning scoundrel Kay Vess and her loyal companion Nix, as they attempt one of the greatest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen. Seeking the means to start a new life, players will join Kay and Nix as they fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and join the galaxy’s most wanted.

Kay and Nix can turn any situation to their advantage: use stealth and gadgets to gain the upper hand, use Nix to distract and draw away enemies, or engage in blaster combat in tense situations throughout their journey. In order to pull off the ultimate heist, Kay and Nix will search for and join forces with a cast of outlaws, including battle-hardened droid ND-5. While stealing valuable goods, infiltrating secret locations, and outwitting enemies, they will need to carefully consider how their choices affect their status with each syndicate, as each move will influence Kay’s ever-changing reputation.
