AWM Frictionless is a cashierless checkout technology that makes it possible for customers to shop as normal and check out by simply walking out of the store. Once the customer downloads the app and enters their identification and payment details, they use a personal QR code to initiate a transaction at the entry gate. Upon entering the store, strategically placed cameras capture the scene and deep learning models detect each customer. These models trained on product and positioning data determine when customers interact with products and whether to add or subtract from their cart. Upon leaving the store, customers are charged via their digital wallet and receive their receipt via email.
